Email Marketing Analytics in Salsa Engage [Video]

Building a beautiful email or crafting the perfect welcome series is a great start, but you can't just 'publish and pray!' You have to analyze and optimize. That's where Salsa's email marketing analytics come in handy.

As you continually analyze your nonprofit's email marketing campaigns, Salsa's intuitive built-in reports deliver the "at a glance" dashboard insights you need.

Over the last few weeks, we've looked at "How to Build an Email" and "How to do Marketing Automation" and "A/B Testing Emails" in Salsa Engage.

To close out our series on email marketing, let's look at how you can analyze your email performance to see the ones that are working, the ones that need improvement, and determine how to optimize your subject lines, email content, and calls to action going forward.

Here is the last of four videos spotlighting Salsa's email marketing tools:

When it comes to measuring your email campaigns and email engagement, Salsa’s visual dashboard is second to none.

At a glance, you can see how your email marketing has performed over specific time frames, how many new subscribers have joined your email list, and how many of them are actively engaged.

You can also look back at your top performing emails and email series based on their open rates, click through rates, and conversion rates…

For metrics on specific newsletters or email appeals, you can see how your open, click, conversion and unsubscribe rates compare to industry averages, and see which devices your recipients are using to open your emails.

Quick tip: If many of your supporters are opening your emails on mobile phones, but click through and conversion rates are lower than you hoped, try shortening the email by using less text and more prominent call to action buttons higher in the email.
