We use the information we collect to generally provide and customize our Services, for marketing and promotional purposes, and for research and analytical purposes. For more information about how we use information we collect, please visit our Privacy Policies.
As explained in our Privacy Policies, we sometimes provide personal information to third parties to perform services on our behalf. To the extent provided by the Principles, Salsa Labs remains responsible and liable under the Principles if a third-party that it engages to process personal information on its behalf does so in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, unless Salsa Labs proves that it is not responsible for the matter giving rise to the damage.
In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Individuals may contact us to correct, amend or delete such personal information if it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the Principles (except when the burden or expense of providing access, correction, amendment, or deletion would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual’s privacy, or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated). Additionally, Salsa Labs provides you with the ability to choose whether your personal information is disclosed to a third party or used for a certain purpose. Requests for access, correction, limitation or deletion should be sent to: email@example.com. Please note that copies of information that you have updated, modified or deleted will remain in our systems.
We will provide an individual opt-out choice, or opt-in for sensitive data, before we share your data with third parties other than our agents, or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. To request to limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, please submit a written request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Salsa Labs commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection or use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to Privacy Shield.
